I thought I would share some of these with you;

Start the day with warm water and fresh lemon
Cut out dairy products for one week - dairy is mucous forming and can be difficult to digest. Try nut milk, rice milk or goats milk.
Add Cayenne and Ginger to your meals to help boost your circulation.
Add Garlic to your meals to fight off germs.
Adding sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds will keep your immune system strong.
Saunas and steams are a great way of detoxification of the skin.
Body brushing daily is a great way of stimulating your system.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and to prevent yourself from feeling sluggish .... try to drink up to 2 litres per day.
Try to avoid alcohol for one month as this slows down the metabolism.
Think about portion sizes. If you hold your hands together and then open them out the surface area is the plate and portion size.
Try not to pile your food too high, however, you can fill your plate with vegetables to add nutrients and colour.
The protein (fish, chicken, meat etc) on your place should be the size of your palm and the carbs should make up 60%.
Limit red meat to once per week.
Eat 5-7 portions of fruit and vegetables per day.
Limit saturated fats (meat products, biscuits, chocolate etc) to 5g per 100g.
Reduce tea and coffee to none, or no more than 2 cups per day ... try to replace with herbal decaffeinated teas.
Minimize foods treated with chemicals.
Choose organic or natural produces where possible (although this can be expensive).
Grill, bake, poach or steam foods.
Eat 3 healthy meals and 2 snacks per day.
Eat every 3 - 4 hours.
Chew slowly to maintain a healthy digestive system and satisfaction.
Snack on fruit, raw nuts, raw vegetables, seeds, rye bread, crisp bread etc ...

Try to eat your last meal before 6pm. However, if you work late or have worked out, eat less starchy carbohydrates (rice, pasta, potatoes, bread) and eat protein with complext vegetable carbohydrates.
